French 'petite check' viscose/wool suiting - cream/raspberry

From designer deadstock, this is a delightful and classic woven suiting in a playful pairing of raspberry pink and cream. The content is a blend of viscose and wool, which provides a soft, dry hand and a drapier character than an all-wool woven would have. It is also resistant to wrinkling. The small-scale check design is yarn-dyed and from a distance has an overall impression of a medium peachy pink, and it looks the same on both sides. This fabric is completely opaque and a lighter suiting weight or medium dress weight. It is stable in both directions and not at all bulky. Make a timeless suit, lined or unlined jacket, structured dress or skirt, trousers, handbags, totes and much more. Dry cleaning is recommended, but if you choose to handwash please test first.
